Schools in Southern Arizona are closed Friday because of the expected storm. Those include the following districts:
- Douglas Unified School District
- Benson Unified School District
- Sierra Vista Unified School District
- Tombstone Unified School District
- Cochise College Sierra Vista campus
- Palominas Elementary, Coronado Elementary and Valley View Preschool in Hereford
- Huachuca City School
- Oracle School District
Many schools in Pima County are already closed because of the Tucson Rodeo.
