TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — The Pima County Department of Environmental Quality extended an Ozone Pollution Air Advisory for the Tucson metro area Wednesday.
Those who are especially sensitive to air pollution could suffer coughing and trouble breathing and are advised to limit intense physical activity -- particularly outdoors -- between noon and 6 p.m.
The advisory was initially issued Monday and extended Tuesday.
PDEQ is issuing High Pollution Advisory for ground-level ozone air pollution for the Tucson metropolitan area. If you are sensitive to ozone, you may want to limit your level of exertion outside between noon and 6 p.m. when elevated levels of ozone pollution are higher.
