A bald eagle called his own number during the national anthem before Saturday's College Football Playoff semifinal matchup between Clemson and Notre Dame at AT&T Stadium.
Rather than returning to its handler, the eagle went rogue and, according to Yahoo Sports, landed on multiple Notre Dame fans. Naturally, Fighting Irish fans are taking this as a good sign.
The eagle reportedly eventually did make its way back to its handler.
Notre Dame is now the favorite, we will not be convinced otherwise 🦅

Bald eagle flying for the national anthem here at the @CottonBowlGame … then landed on a Notre Dame fan … and then on another fan (who’d stuck his arm out as a landing pad).
