TUCSON- Today was the first of two public events honoring U.S. Deputy Marshal Chase White.
White was shot and killed one week ago today while serving an arrest warrant on Tucson's north side.
The U.S. Deputy Marshal was a father of four and a husband.
Today's event was a visitation that was open to the public at Adair Funeral Home.
Among those that attended law enforcement officials from the marshal's and other departments.
Tomorrow is a celebration of life the public is encouraged to join friends and family as they remember White's life.
The service starts at 9:30 a.m. at the Tucson Convention Center, but organizers are asking for people to be in their seats by nine.
Well wishers will be standing along the route from the funeral home to the TCC.
The hearse will travel along oracle from Oro Valley into downtown and organizers are warning drivers that traffic will also be affected in that area.
KGUN9 will have coverage tomorrow from outside the service.
