While I am much more of a fan of winter weather than summer, I will admit nothing beats sitting outside on a sunny day and sipping an ice-cold hard seltzer.

One of the biggest names in the hard seltzer industry is Truly, which has been around since 2016. Since then, the brand has come up with dozens of flavors and is now kicking off 2021 with a first-of-its-kind new drink: Truly Iced Tea Hard Seltzer.

Combining hard seltzer, brewed tea and fruit flavor, the Truly Iced Tea Hard Seltzer Variety Pack is available nationwide in four flavors: lemon, raspberry, peach and strawberry. Each flavor has only 1 gram of sugar, 100 calories and 5% alcohol by volume (ABV).

Along with a handful of other flavors, Truly also has a hard seltzer lemonade, which they released last year. With 100 calories, the lemonade seltzer comes in four flavors: original, black cherry, mango and strawberry.

Speaking of spiked lemonade, Bud Light is also adding a Bud Light seltzer lemonade to their Bud Light seltzer lineup. The new drink flavor is available in 12-ounce slim can variety 12-packs in four flavors: original, black cherry, strawberry and peach. Made with lemonade, each can has 100 calories with less than 1 gram of sugar and 5% ABV.

Bud Light’s other Platinum Seltzer drinks launched last year in three flavors: citrus, wild berry and blood orange. Made with cane sugar, sparkling water, natural fruit flavors and agave, each can has 8% ABV and is only 170 calories. You can also get them in variety pack six-packs featuring 12-ounce slim cans and as single-flavor six-packs.

Michelob Ultra also has a new line of hard seltzer, which hit stores this month. Their organic seltzer is the first national USDA-certified organic hard seltzer on the market to be offered in grocery stores nationwide. It currently comes in three flavors — spicy pineapple, cucumber lime and peach pear — with a second variety pack on the way later this year.
