About Dr. Michelle Henry:
One of New York’s most sought-after dermatologists, Dr. Michelle Henry is a board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon at the Laser and Skin Surgery Center of New York, as well as a Clinical Instructor of Dermatology at Weill Cornell Medical College. She currently practices Mohs micrographic, reconstructive and cosmetic surgery, and she specializes in high-risk skin cancer treatments, skin of color and Aesthetic Surgery.
Prior to working in New York, Dr. Henry attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. She completed her dermatology residency at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where she served as Chief Resident, and then went up to Boston, where she completed a fellowship in cutaneous oncology, Mohs micrographic and reconstructive surgery with the Harvard Medical School Department of Dermatology.
Frequently sought after in the media for her extensive knowledge and experience, Dr. Henryis currently working with skincare brand CeraVe®, where she serves as an expert for various brand initiatives.
Dr. Henry’s expertise goes beyond practicing dermatology, with experience in teaching other physicians aesthetic procedures and publishing numerous articles on skin cancer treatment and cosmetic surgery. A committed research scientist, she was recently recognized as a Tromovitch Award finalist by the American College of Mohs Surgery. She is also fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and the American College of Mohs Surgery, and she chairs the Education Committee of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery.
