Southern Arizona’s longest running art festival, the Tubac Festival of the Arts is a 61-year tradition that draws tens of thousands of visitors each season. In 2020, the Festival will be held Feb. 5-9, and will include 20+ more booths than last year in addition to new artists and entertainment! Come for the day to enjoy the vibrant colors, sounds and flavors of the Tubac Festival of the Arts or stay overnight and make a mini-vacation out of it!
The Tubac Center of the Arts, commanding the main intersection in the village, offers a full range of arts programming and seasonal exhibits that are not to be missed. Several locally owned restaurants and bars offer outstanding fare for breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails. Our comfortable B&Bs and luxurious golf resort mean that you have many options to stay another day! Established in 1752 as a Spanish Presidio (fort), Tubac now hosts working artists whose studios surround the former parade grounds. The village remembers this colorful history well at the Tubac Presidio State Historic Park, located in Old Town, where outdoor displays and an excellent museum bring it all to life. No visit to Tubac is complete without a stop at this, Arizona’s First State Park.
