TUCSON, Ariz. — Whether you’re a Tucsonan through and through, a snowbird or just a visitor, there’s a lot to love about this Southern Arizona staple. It doesn’t take much to be charmed when you experience the majestic mountains, winding canyons, and unique plants and animals.
One of its remarkable characteristics is how it can conform to what you want it to be… ranging from a place of reflection and relaxation, to a sunny get-together with friends and family, to one of nature’s best places to get a workout in.

Getting to the various trails is also a customizable experience. If you’re seasoned, you can walk up the paved road to one of the trailheads and start hiking Blacketts Ridge, up to Seven Falls or the entire Bear Canyon Loop. If you’d rather take it easier, you can simply hop on a tram and enjoy the ride. During certain times of the day, bikers even have a place here, letting them zoom in and out on two wheels.
With how unusual this year has been, visitors see it as an escape – letting them leave their quarantine spaces and get some fresh air. The countless ways that Sabino Canyon brings us together and puts us back in touch with nature makes it a true source of Arizona Adventures.
