The Roadrunners beat the Stockton Heat 5-4 on Sunday evening. Kyle Woods scored a pair of power play goals and Chris Meuller tallied four assists in the win.
The two teams traded goals, going back and forth 3 times, and the Roadrunners answered back each time. Brendan Perlini scored another goal, giving him 11 and the AHL lead, while Chris Meuller's four assists.establish a new team high in that category.
The Roadrunners head out on a 3 game road trip and will face San Diego on Wednesday night at 8pm, Tucson time.
