TUCSON, Ariz. — Lute Olson, the legendary former coach for the University of Arizona basketball, is hospitalized after a stroke over the weekend, hospital officials say.
According to a news release from Banner University Medical Center, Olson was admitted to University Medical Center Tucson on Saturday. The hospital describes the stroke as "minor," and says they expect him to make a full recovery after undergoing some rehabilitation.
The hospital says Olson is in good condition.
In 2008, doctors told Olson he'd had an undiagnosed stroke earlier that year.
His last run with the Wildcats was the 2006-2007 season.
