TUCSON, Ariz. — The Tucson Sugar Skulls laid out the new indoor football field for the first time on Tuesday at Tucson Arena.
The turf fits inside the dimensions of the hockey boards, which make up the out of bounds.
The field is 50 yards long with 8 yard end zones. There will be 10 foot wide goal posts at each end as well.
KGUN 9's time-lapse shows over four hours of field set up.
Tucson's new Indoor Football League team kicks off the season in 12 days, at San Diego.
The home opener for the Sugar Skulls is March 10.
