TUCSON, Ariz. — Sunday will be round two of the developing indoor football rivalry between Tucson and Phoenix.
The expansion Sugar Skulls lost 63-28 last month to the Rattlers in Phoenix.
This time the game will be at Tucson Arena.
That means Rattlers Head Coach Kevin Guy goes up against the team he and his wife own - the Sugar Skulls.
"We made a commitment to Tucson and we want to see it through," Guy told KGUN 9. "We're excited about this weekend's game. When we put this team in Tucson we had this rivalry in mind. This is just another way that Tucson and Phoenix are going to compete."
Guy believes the Sugar Skulls will be hungry for a win.
"I think this is going to be a statement game for Tucson this week with the Rattlers."
Tickets are available for Sunday's 3 p.m. kickoff at Tucson Arena.
The game will also be carried live on The CW Tucson. Pat Parris and former Arizona Wildcat standout Chuck Cecil will call the game, with KGUN 9 Sports Director Jason Barr reporting from the sideline.
