PHOENIX, Ariz — Drew Powell scored on a two-point conversion as the Arizona Rattlers came back from 21 points down to beat the Sugar Skulls, 50-49, in overtime at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix.

"We played with heart and I hope they understand this is how they're capable of playing every weekend," said Sugar Skulls head coach Marcus Coleman. "Win or lose, I wanted to see our team play a complete ball game and I thought we did that. They just made one more play than we did."

The Rattlers had a chance to win at the end of regulation but kicker Josh Gable missed a fifty yard field goal. Mike Jones scored for Tucson in overtime, but Powell found Dez Stewart in the endzone to put the Rattlers within one point. Powell then ran in the two-point conversion.

The Rattlers remain unbeaten on the season, and won all four games against Tuscon during the regular season. The 6-7 Sugar Skulls can still make the playoffs with a win next weekend, at home, in the finale against Quad City.
