TUCSON, Ariz — It's been more than one year since Arizona basketball coach Sean Miller commented on the college basketball scandal, and it's been more than one month since former assistant coach Book Richardson pleading guilty to one count of federal bribery.
Miller held his first news conference since reports surfaced that he's been called to testify in the upcoming federal trial.
Mike Pelton, a reporter from KGUN sister station KNXV-TV in Phoenix, asked Miller if he had been notified.
"No comment," said Miller.
"If you are subpoenaed, will you testify?"
"But with all the scrutiny that has surrounded this University...."
"No comment. You can drive back to Phoenix."
"You're not going to answer the question?'
Miller shook his head no and later wouldn't comment to a question by a different reporter on how this is affecting his coaching. The Wildcats have won twon games in a row following their seven game losing streak, the longest losing streak since 1983.
