The University of Arizona will not be playing the California Golden Bears the weekend of December 19th.
The decision was made Sunday evening by the Pac-12.
There had been no set date or time for the game, which would have been the season's finale.
In a statement, the Pac-12 says, "the decision was made under the Pac-12's football game cancellation policy due to both Arizona and Cal not having the minimum number of scholarship student-athletes available for the game."
It goes on to state that the game will be declared a no contest, per Conference rules.
The California Golden Bears' game against Washington State on Saturday, December 12th was canceled due to a member of the team receiving a positive COVID test.
