TUCSON, Ariz. - Monday was a busy day in Arizona Wildcats basketball news, with one player revealing that he will transfer to another program, while another who had said he would transfer reversed course.
Devonaire Doutrive, who is best known for hitting the game-winning shot against Oregon State in February, tweeted Monday that he was no longer intending to transfer, days after Arizona coach Sean Miller confirmed that he'd decided to leave the program.
Sorry for the confusion everyone but I’m staying at the University of Arizona 🐻⬇️

Thew news came hours after Alex Barcello confirmed reports that he had decided to transfer.
I want to say Thank You to the University of Arizona and the fans for these past two amazing years but I have decided it’s in my best interest to move in a direction that’s best for myself and my family.

This flurry of player shuffling follows last week's report that recruit Terry Armstrong would skip college altogether.
Both Doutrive -- a 6-foot-5 guard from Dallas -- and Barcello -- a 6-foot-2 guard from Chandler -- averaged 3.3 points per game last season. Playing time is expected to be even harder to come by next season with a highly-ranked routing class on the way.
Arizona opens the season Nov. 6 against NAU.
