TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — The Arizona Wildcats' starting quarterback has decided to enter the NCAA's transfer portal.
According to a report from ESPN's Adam Rittenberg, Grant Gunnell will have three years of eligibility left at his next school.
The decision to transfer comes days after the University fired head coach Kevin Sumlin, who recruited Gunnell.
In the 2020 season, Gunnell played just three games before suffering a shoulder injury.
The Arizona Wildcats finished the season with a 0-5 record.
