TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Pima County is recognizing small businesses and nonprofits who have persevered through the ongoing pandemic.
The Pima County Small Business Commission awards small business and nonprofits that fit that criteria of company culture, positive influence in the county and community engagement.
'Treasures 4 Teachers Of Tucson' is one winner of the county's 2020 Small Business of the Year Awards.
The nonprofit gives away school and classroom supplies for free, including art supplies, books, yarn and jars, which are donated by the community.
Treasures 4 Teachers say because of the pandemic, there has been more of a need for PPE supplies.
