TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — Meibel Samaniego from South Tucson took her passion to the next level.

"I really like flowers, arts and crafts and putting things together," said Samaniego.

She started a floral business from her home called Enchanted Roses USA. Her flowers are grown in Ecuador and preserved to last over a year.

"It makes me happy that they are getting something of good quality and that they can give it to their loved ones," said Samaniego.

Samaniego became interested when she said she saw a similar product online that sold for hundreds of dollars. She wanted the arrangements to be accessible for everyone in Tucson.

"Around two or three months ago, I started selling the flowers," said Samaniego.

She markets her arrangements solely on social media.

"In the first week that I started selling in January for Valentine's Day, I almost sold out. I only have a few left. I had 50 to 100 boxes before."

It's safe to safe her hobby is now blossoming.

"These flowers last for a long time. It makes me happy that people can have something beautiful in their house for a long time," said Samaniego.

Samaniego hopes to expand her business and start her own website in the Spring.
