TUCSON, Ariz. -- Non-profits across Tucson are working to provide supplies for those in need.

That includes the Salvation Army, who has partnered with Tucson Downtown Lions Club.

The groups are working together to collect essential supplies to be given to the unemployed and older members of the community.

"The Tucson Downtown Lions decided to do a spontaneous neighborhood pop-up...so the Salvation Army is in need of all canned goods and paper products when they are available," said the Lions Club's Su-Lynn Trepanitis.

Other items needed include juice boxes, crackers, water, and personal hygiene products.

Donations can be dropped off at any Salvation Army in Tucson.
