TUCSON, Ariz. (KGUN) — A Tucson coffee spot is being recognized by the Pima County Small Business Commission for its perseverance through the pandemic.
Coffee Times Drive-Thru on Speedway is one of a handful businesses awarded by Pima County. The commission based the award on company culture, positive impact and involvement in the community.
The family-owned business is known for their work in the community and helping their employees during the pandemic.
The owner said he didn't have to let go any of his employees.
It is thanks to the support from local customers who bought gift certificates over the phone and purchased items online that kept their doors open.
Owner Jeremy Cripps said "It's validating certainly this is been a rough year, and it's nice to feel seen and it's nice for my career to be seen. And for my customers to say that we see you."
