TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Unified School District officials are confirming an outbreak of COVID-19 at a K-8 school.
In a letter to parents, the district reported several cases of COVID from C.E. Rose to the Pima County Health Department. They have not elaborated on who is sick.
TUSD said the impacted people were notified quickly and went into quarantine immediately.
Because of that quick action, the district and health department decided the school could remain open.
The district says all families and staff who were identified through contact tracing have been notified.
