TUCSON, Ariz. — With the rise in COVID cases in Arizona, BASIS Charter Schools are returning to remote only learning until after the holidays.

All 22 of the Arizona BASIS Charter School campuses are now distance learning until the winter break that starts December 19, according to a BASIS official. The plan is to reopen campuses when winter break ends January 4, to give students and staff the option to return to campus or continue learning remotely.

The schools are continuing to follow guidelines from federal and state health officials.

The school system will also continue to monitor data.
