Sahuarita Police have opened an investigation following their discovery of an abandoned vehicle and vandalism on Saturday, January 12, 2019.
Per a Sahuarita Police Media Release, the vehicle was found in the 100 block of W. Calle Tierra Sandia. After investigating, SPD discovered that the vehicle was stolen and had been abandoned after striking a water main.
Nearby the abandoned vehicle, SPD also discovered other cars and residences that had been vandalized with spray paint. SPD believes the two crimes are connected.
