UPDATE: Arizona Department of Transportation reports that all lanes have re-opened on westbound I-10.
ORIGINAL STORY:
Several people have been injured, including a Gila River police officer, in a crash that has shut down westbound lanes of Interstate 10 and Riggs Road, south of the Phoenix-metro area.
DPS says the crash included four vehicles, one of them a Gila River PD patrol cruiser. Two people have serious injuries, and the officer has minor injuries, according to DPS.
It's unclear what led up to the crash.
