Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers put their lives on the line in an effort to save a man darting across the Loop 202 in Phoenix early Friday morning.
Video captured on freeway cameras show the man talking with troopers before running into lanes of traffic near 32nd Street -- and the troopers followed behind. There were several close calls with vehicles passing by on the freeway, but no one appeared to suffer any injuries.
The man was eventually detained after being taken down by troopers multiple times.
