Kanye West is headed to Tempe to hold one of his famous church services.

Called "Awaken 2020," the free 12-hour event will be hosted at Arizona State University's Sun Devil Stadium on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2020, from 10 a.m. - 10 p.m. While the event is free, registration is required. People can register, here.

West and the Sunday Service Choir are scheduled to perform at 4 p.m., according to the eventbrite invitation.

Over the last few months, West has held church services at various venues around the state, including Detroit and Houston.

"This January 18th, 2020 at Sun Devil Stadium in Phoenix, Arizona, it’s time for you to be part of the Jesus awakening that is shifting HISTORY. Open the door and enter into a new era, a new decade, of revival that is bringing a movement of signs and wonders, healing of the sick, and preaching of the gospel," a description states on Awaken2020's website.

In addition to West, speakers include Brian Welch, Daniel Kolenda, David Herzog, Stephanie Herzog, Lou Engle, Guilleromo Maldonado, Cindy Jacobs, and several others.

"Awaken 2020’s purpose is to be a driving force in unifying many groups of people of our great nation when we come together in unity and love as the Power of God is released as He loves every person regardless of their background and brings breakthrough, hope and healing to all people in a time when our nation greatly needs it," a release said.

CLEAR BAG POLICY

Because the event is being held at ASU's Sun Devil Stadium, the stadium's "clear bag policy" will be in effect, a spokesperson confirmed to ABC15. That means only clear bags, including small clutches and purses, will be allowed into the stadium. Visit TheSunDevils.com for more information and for a list of prohibited items.
