A shortage of gasoline at Sam's Club pumps in Arizona is the result of a fire in Texas earlier this week, according to a store manager.
An Exxon Mobil refinery near Houston caught fire Wednesday and resulted in a temporary shelter in place order while crews worked to extinguish the fire.
A total of 66 people were treated for non-life threatening injuries as a result of the fire, according to ABC affiliate KTRK.
The manager of the Sam's Club on Gilbert Road south of Baseline told ABC15 that refinery supplied gasoline to the company's 12 Arizona stores.
New shipments are expected within two weeks but could take longer, the manager said.
A message seeking additional information from Sam's Club's corporate office was not immediately returned.
