Crews with Rural Metro and Superstition Fire assisted in getting to the driver, about 250 feet off the cliff where the car ended up stopping.
According to the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the driver only suffered hip and back injuries. The exact extent of those injuries is unknown.
On January 16, a man was found dead in a vehicle after it went over a cliff in the same area.
It's unclear what caused the driver to go off the cliff in this incident.
Authorities originally reported that there was a passenger in the car as well, but DPS now says there was only one person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.
