NOGALES, Ariz — U.S. Customs and Border Protection seized 10,000 rounds of assault rifle ammunition at the Port of Nogales.
The ammo was in the bottom of a large cooler and covered with with cans of beer.
Nogales Port Director Michael Humphries tweeted that a 23-year-old man was arrested in the failed smuggling attempt.
