TUCSON, Ariz. - Gov. Doug Ducey will attend two funerals this week of noted politicians.

The first comes Wednesday in the funeral of former Pres. George H.W. Bush in Washington at the National Cathedral. The 41st president died Friday, and his body is currently lying in state at the U.S. Capitol, where members of the public can pay their respects.

After the funeral Wednesday, Bush will be laid to rest in his home state of Texas.

Ducey will promptly return to Arizona, where he'll attend former Congressman Ed Pastor's funeral on Friday. Pastor died late last month. The Democrat represented Arizona in Washington for 14 years in districts that included both Tucson and Phoenix. His body lied in state at the Capitol in Phoenix Sunday.
