In under 48 hours, Yuma Border Patrol agents said they encountered 188 migrants from countries other than Mexico.
From noon Tuesday to 9 a.m. Wednesday, Yuma Station agents apprehended 23 grounds of people from seven countries.
Yuma Sector said 149 of the immigrants are from Guatemala, 155 of them were traveling as families and 18 of them were unaccompanied children.
The Yuma sector said it has seen a continuous increase in the number of migrants surrendering to agents along the border this year.
