One person killed in Milton Road car crash

A wreck shut down a stretch of Milton Road Thursday morning.

The Pima County Sheriff's Department responded to a single car crash on Milton Road.

The incident occurred on Thursday morning around 4:15 a.m. on West Milton Road near South Hopdown Lane.

Deputies located a white sports utility vehicle (SUV) with a woman who suffered severe injuries.

The woman was identified as 33-year-old Nadia Badillo and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation is ongoing.

A wreck that shut down a stretch of Milton Road Thursday morning was cleared.

According to the Pima County Sheriff's Department, the crash closed the road between Hopdown and Gunsight Lanes.

The road was closed for several hours but reopened by 2 p.m.
