A crash shut down northbound Interstate 19 in Sahuarita Thursday for less than an hour. The road was reopened by noon.

According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the closure was at milepost 46, near Sahuarita Road.

According to the Arizona Department of Public safety, the wreck happened at 10:47 a.m. An 82-year-old man drove a pickup truck wrong way on northbound lanes and hit a car driven by a 23-year-old woman.

Both were transported to the hospital.

Authorities do not believe the driver of the pickup was impaired.
