A woman was transported to a local hospital today after being shot in the Rita Ranch neighborhood on Tucson's south-east side.
Tucson Police officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 7700 block of South Precious Opal Drive. They arrived to find the woman with gunshot trauma.
An adult male is currently detained. No suspects are outstanding. Additional details are limited at this time, TPD said.
