KGUN 9 has confirmed that the women who drowned last month near the Rillito River during flash flood has been identified as 26-year-old Alicia Walker.

A woman is now dead following a swift water rescue attempt near Swan and the Rillito River.

According to the Tucson Police Department, they responded to a swift water rescue at TFD's request.

An adult female was located in the wash; despite life-saving efforts, she was declared dead at the scene.

The investigation remains ongoing and nothing suspicious was noted.
