Winterhaven Festival of lights celebrating 70 years of holiday cheer, what you need to know

TUCSON, Ariz. — The lights! The festivities! The tradition! It's all returns Dec. 14.

The 70th Annual Winterhaven Festival of Lights is back for another year of holiday cheer for all Tucsonans, no matter what holiday you celebrate.

Families can take a stroll through one of the city's most historic neighborhoods and gaze upon the each home decked out in bright lights, just make sure to dress warm!

How long does Winterhaven last?

The festival starts on Dec. 14 and ends on Dec. 29.

Where are the entrances to the neighborhood?

Attendees can enter on Ft. Lowell, Tucson, Country Club, and Prince road.

Is there an entrance fee?

There is no entrance fee! This event is free.

Is there a drive through night?

Yes! Drive Thru Night is on Dec. 29 only.

Where can I park?

Parking is available in surrounding neighborhoods. Some nearby businesses may charge for parking. There is no designated parking lot.

Are there bathrooms?

Yes.

Where can I donate canned food?

The Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona will have donation stations at all four entrances.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, but they must be on a leash.
