TUCSON, Ariz.-- The United States Postal Service held an event to celebrate National Military Appreciation Month late Sunday morning at their Tucson Processing and Distribution Center.
The event featured veterans in formation in front of the building to perform a military drill. Tucson Plant Manager Renee Jones-Cheney spoke after the pledge of allegiance, and an employee, who is a veteran, played songs on his violin.
According to USPS officials, they currently have more than 110,000 veterans throughout their ranks nationally and have been one of America's largest employers for veterans for over the last two centuries.
