Brennan, who spend time under former UA coaching legend Dick Tomey beginning in 2000, has multiple ties to the university—most notably through his wife, Courtney, a UA alum, and his brother Bradley, who played football under Tomey in the late 90s.
He replaces outgoing coach Jedd Fisch, who signed a head coaching contract with the University of Washington over the weekend. Brennan was under consideration for Arizona's previous head coaching search.
