TUCSON, Ariz. — A unique Arizona ranch is up for sale, and it's said to be the most expensive home ever auctioned in the Tucson area.

It's called Rancho de Los Cerros and the 10-acre estate includes a 8,000-square-foot home, stables, a riding arena, a carriage house, a guest house, a freeform swimming pool, an event center and a replica 1800s western town.

The estate sits just north of Catalina State Park and was once a Girl Scout Camp, according to a news release from the company managing the auction.

The current owners, David and Molly Hoffman, transformed it into what it is today over the past 32 years. The Hoffmans are local attorneys and also own Lil Abner's Restaurant, the release says.

The property is subject to a minimum bid of $2.75 million and was last listed for sale at $7 million.
