TUCSON, Ariz. — Tucson Unified School District School Safety and Tucson Police investigated a social media threat made against Sahuaro High School.
Sahuaro High School Administration sent an email to families Monday afternoon informing them of the threat.
"As a precaution we will have TPD and TUSD School Safety officers present on campus tomorrow," according Sahuaro High School Administration.
Some parents reached out to KGUN9 Monday night expressing concern about other rumored incidents last week.
KGUN9 has only been able to confirm this recent social media threat, but we will look into these parents' concerns.
Tucson Unified School District says that the threat was traced to the original source and not deemed credible. An extra police presence is still expected on campus Tuesday.
