The rink is part of the "For the Growth of the Game" partnership between the NHL affiliate and the Arizona Coyotes DEK Hockey Initiative.
The unveiling and ribbon cutting is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 23.
During school hours, Doolen Middle School and TUSD will have access to the rink, after 3 p.m. the access will go to the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Tucson.
The Tucson Roadrunners also hope to create different leagues in order to allow the community to get a chance to use the hockey rink.

Within the next year the organization hopes to add a canopy over the top of the rink for more protection as well as lights that would allow for nighttime use.
