Tucson police have received 300 body cameras over the past several weeks.
These cameras were paid for by Prop 101, the voter-approved half-cent sales tax, known as Tucson Delivers.
Members of the Tucson Police Department say they are grateful for the public's support to pass Prop 101 so they can have new equipment
According to Tucson Police Officer Hawkins, TPD plans to start the five-hour training on body camera use for officers next week.
Hawkins says the goal of the police department is to have all officers that have contact with the public wear a body camera by next month.
According to Hawkins, TPD had about 115 body-worn cameras before this.
