Tucson police are investigating how a woman's body ended up in a wash near Pima and Swan.
TPD was called to the 1700 block of North Frances Blvd around 6 a.m. Wednesday after a man riding his bicycle noticed something in the wash.
When officers arrived, they found the woman who is said to be in her mid to late 30's. TPD says it appears she was washed away by floodwaters and do not suspect foul play.
Authorities say they found her vehicle parked near 10th and Woodland, which is two miles away from where she was found. TPD does not know what led up to her being washed away.
An identity has not yet been revealed until next of kin is notified.
