Tucson Police arrest a woman in connection with a southside homicide

TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson Police arrested a woman in connection with a southside homicide.

According to officials, police arrived at an apartment home at 190 W. Valencia, with a woman waiting outside and man inside the home with serious injuries.

The woman has been identified as 23 year-old Dee-Lora Lopez and the man has been identified as 21 year-old Jubi Lopez.

Dee-Lora Lopez was charged with first degree murder and taken to Pima County jail.

First-aid and CPR was performed on the man until Tucson Fire medics arrived. The man was pronounced dead shortly after.

According to officers, the woman and man had an argument, during the altercation the woman recovered a knife and stabbed the man several times.

After the incident she called 911.

Police say, the man and woman are related and they were living in the apartment together.
