Tucson Parks and Recreation has canceled Tuesday's track and feld meet, which was set to take place at Drachman Stadium, 501 S. Plumer Ave., at 7 p.m.
The event was called due to excessive heat.
Parks and Recreation has been holding track and field meets for all ages each Tuesday since early June. The meets continue next week through July 25.
