UPDATE (4:18 p.m.):

According to an update from Tucson Fire, crews were dispatched to a house fire in the 2100 block of East Monterey Vista at 2:42 p.m.

High winds, heavy fire and downed power lines spread the fire to a neighboring home across the alley on Sunland Vista, TFD said.

The fire also spread to a shed on another property across the alley.

The fire caused some power lines to fall in the alley, hindering efforts to control the fire, TFD said.

A three-alarm response was requested, but only two were needed due to the work of the crews already on scene, TFD said.

The fire on Sunland Vista was under control by 3:11 p.m. and the fire on Monterey Vista was under control by 3:15 p.m., TFD said.

No injuries, but multiple residents were displaced, TFD said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
