TUCSON, Ariz. - Tucson City Council members have voted to oppose the U.S. Army's use of concertina wire on the U.S, border.
Council members called the move "offensive" and "repulsive."
They voted unanimously to condemn the wire along the border in Nogales.
One week before this resolution the Nogales City Council voted to ask the Federal Government to take immediate action and remove the wire in city limits.
Tucson city leaders said it’s important to sympathize with surrounding communities.
