The Tucson Baptist Church is cleaning up after being burglarized, the third time in less than a year.
The burglary happened early Friday morning.
Pastor Brent Armstrong tells KGUN 9 that all of the offices and classrooms were trashed and to make matters worse, the vandals left behind human feces, which was smeared on one of the walls.
"I'm very saddened someone would do this to a local church," said Armstrong. "It certainly shows that they're in need of help. And we're willing to forgive and we're willing to help that person, but this kind of thing just has to stop."
Church officials say they're working to ramp up security by adding cameras in each of their buildings, which should help prevent more break-ins.
"We're an easy target, the church is an easy target and they know when we're open," said Armstrong.
Tucson Police say there is no one in custody at this time. Anyone with information should call 911 or 88-CRIME.
