TUCSON, Ariz. — A trial date has been set for the man charged with killing Genna Ayup in 2012.
On Wednesday, a Superior Court Judge set the trial for Ronald Corbin Junior for November 12, 2019.
He is scheduled to change his plea in November.
The Pima County Attorney's Office re-opened the case last year.
A grand jury indicted Corbin on manslaughter charges.
Police say Corbin accidentally shot Ayup, while he was cleaning his gun.
